Here's what you'll need to marinate 6-8 (6-8oz each) steaks.
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
3 Tbs honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbs fresh ginger root, minced
Juice of 2 limes
- Combine all ingredients in a nonreactive pan, add your steaks.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator about 1 hour prior to grilling to bring steaks up to room temperature.
- Grind black pepper generously over each side of the steaks.
- Grill as usual!!!

I have got to do more with ginger root... It is everywhere around here
Yumm...this does sound good. Never thought of lime juice...
